Mangalem's Shades
Tools :ย Illustration, After Effects
I am excited to share a very special project realized in ๐๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ, Albania, the country I come from. This city, listed as a ๐”๐๐„๐’๐‚๐Ž World Heritage site, is home to the Mangalem district, also known as โ€œthe district of One Over One Windowsโ€ which recently hosted the event "๐Œ๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ฆ'๐ฌ ๐’๐ก๐š๐๐ž๐ฌ", a fascinating blend of tradition and modern technology.
This project featured the participation of several talented artists, and I had the honor of presenting my work with "๐๐ฃ๐ž ๐‹๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ž, ๐๐ฃ๐ž ๐ƒ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ž" (๐Ž๐ง๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ, ๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐๐จ๐ฐ), a series of colorful flower illustrations on the white walls of Mangalem. Each flower brought a touch of color and life to this historic district.
On December 24th and 25th, the light projections of the "๐๐ข๐ฑ๐ž๐ฅ ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ" show completed this unique experience, transforming the windows into doors leading to vibrant and sensory worlds.
I am particularly proud to see that my work was widely shared on social media and that my illustrations were chosen to appear on the homepage of Tirana Post, dedicated to this project. It is a great joy to have contributed to this event that highlights the beauty of this iconic neighborhood.
